Here are a few things that you can do with a praxLearn Community platform. But it’s not limited to these items! You can also create information posts and pages, build friendships, run question and answer sessions, provide support and give your members a place to exchange information in a safe, friendly, focused online environment.
Groups are usually at the heart of an online community and you can create and manage public, private and hidden special interest or course groups for your members. Each group can have it's own admins and moderators, it's own document library and it's own activity stream.
It's easy to start conversations that are subject specific, to hold online meetings and to provide support for members and students. And with the video extension you can also offer real time video meetings, and audio meetings.
Each group and individual can create a document library where the documents can be organised into folders, have read and edit permissions set to secure them for the group, the user only or for other members. You can add various types of media to the document library including video, audio and text files.
With one of our free add-on plugin options you can also run sophisticated polls to research any topic that you want to get feedback from your members and students from.
Here are some demonstration groups that you can take a look through to get a feel of how groups can configured. Groups can be ‘public’ – everybody can view them, ‘private’ – only members of the group can see them, and ‘hidden’ – these groups are private and also only appear to group members and not on the group listing pages.
