In this course you will learn the basics of using the two design and layout tools used on the Award LMS website: Elementor and the WordPress Blocks Editor.
Although you do not have to have a very detailed knowledge of either of these tools you should develop your skills with both so that editing and creating pages on the Award LMS site is an easy and efficient process for you.
You have six months (180 days) from your date of enrollment to complete this course. The course will no longer be available to you after that period.
You can request an extension or renew you subscription to the course if you need more time.
Course objectives
This course equips you with essential skills for designing and editing courses, lessons, topics, posts and pages using either the Elementor or WordPress Blocks Editor design tools.
Learning outcomes
You’ll gain confidence in performing key design, editing and layout tasks while understanding the difference between Elementor and WordPress Blocks and when one or the other should be used.
You can practice course creation skills on either or both of the two following sites: The Kapazitee Training sandbox site (buttons will appear at various stages of the course to link you to this site), or the Award development website. For the skills you will learn on this course it is best to practice on the Award development site which has the same toolset as the Award production site.
Avoid using the Award production site for practice!
Although there are no completion or course requirements set for Award LMS Admin trainees, marking each lesson and topic as complete will help you keep track of what you have already reviewed.
Make sure you mark all lessons as ‘complete‘ when you have finished them. Even the ones you skip through because you are already familiar with the concepts.
At the end of each course there is a knowledge check. This is purely for you own use and not a requirement of the course or series. If you don’t want to do it just mark that section as complete as well.
Marking lessons and sections as ‘complete‘ will provide your with you own progress reports as you go through the series and enable you to keep track of your last completed section.
